On this tour we will immerse ourselves in nature as we will partake in 2 and a half days safari experiences within the Kruger National Park. The Kruger National Park is the flagship of South Africa’s national parks and rated as the ultimate safari experience. It is considered to give you an almost indescribable wildlife experience. Certainly, it ranks as one of the best in Africa.

AIRPORT DROP OFF:
On the last day of the tour, the vehicle will make a short stop at the Johannesburg airport (OR Tambo International) in order for guests that have evening flights to leave the tour.

Please note we cannot guarantee a specific time of arrival at the airport and will not take any responsibility for delays on the road.

Should guests need to fly back on the last day, the flights must be evening departures.

Itinerary

Day 1
JHB – SOUTHERN KRUGER
Departing from Johannesburg at 08h30, our journey leads us to the southern outskirts of the Kruger National Park. On route we will be stopping for a lunch stop in Schoemanskloof (own expense), one of seven spectacular destinations along the Highlands Meander of Mpumalanga. After our lunch stop we continue our journey until we arrive at our destination situated on the banks of the Crocodile River.

We spend the night just outside the park at a lodge overlooking the Crocodile River and the southern section of the Kruger, allowing us the opportunity to easily access the park tomorrow to see animals and already start experiencing the beauty and wildlife of this country.

Day 2
KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
Today we get up early as we want to enter the Southern Section of the Kruger National Park as soon as we can, for our full day of game viewing. The Southern section of the park offers the opportunity to see some different species of animals like Rhino, Wild Dogs, Herds of Buffalo and elephants as well as other predators like Lion and Hyenas because the South usually has a bit more water, naturally attracting more animals.

Our day is dedicated for driving around in search of these animals; however we will stop

regularly at some of the parks’ rest camps for some leg stretches and comfort breaks as well as some waterholes on route. Lunch today will be in the park (own expense)

Later in the afternoon, we head to our accommodation which is situated inside the park for the night.

DRIVING DISTANCE: Roughly 200 KM (Depending on what we see today) ACCOMMODATION: KRUGER PARKS REST CAMP

Day 3
KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
Another full day of wildlife awaits us. This morning we wake to the sounds of the bush as we slowly prepare for yet another day of wildlife, birding, scenery and fun.

Today we will head slightly further north (depending on what we see) to try and spot some wildlife in their natural habitats by traveling in different areas and driving different routes.

We have the entire day to explore the Kruger and to see what Mother Nature throws at us. Lunch again today will be at one of the parks rest camps (own expense).

This afternoon, after we have enjoyed our time in search of all these magnificent creatures, we slowly make our way to our accommodation which again is situated inside the park.

Day 4
JOHANNESBURG
After another early morning safari, we depart the Kruger National Park area and slowly make our way back to Johannesburg. We will drive through numerous small villages and town and will stop in one of them where we will also enjoy an own expense lunch.

The tour will end in the late afternoon upon arrival at the Lodge.
